2-8 Setting security codes
„ Editing / deleting the protect passcode

Press [Setting] on My MFP Menu screen.
If My MFP Menu screen is not displayed, press <Mode> repeatedly until My MFP Menu
screen is displayed.

Press [Management].

If an administrator password is set, enter the password and press [Enter].
If an administrator password is not set, proceed to step 4.

Press [Protect Passcode].

Enter the current protect passcode using the numeric keys, and press [Enter].

Enter the new passcode using the numeric keys, and press [Enter].
To delete the protect passcode, enter “0000” using the numeric keys, and press [Enter].
