If “Contact your Service Rep.” is displayed (Service
Call)

When there is a problem that cannot be remedied by the customer, “Contact
your Service Rep.” message is displayed on the screen. (Service Call Screen)

Normally, the telephone and fax number of the technical representative of
the customer is displayed on the centre of the service call screen.

The procedure to inform the technical representative about the trouble on
phone is explained here.

7 CAUTION

To prevent the risk of serious accident, perform the following when the
call for service screen is displayed and the facsimile is no longer able to
operate.

1. Write down the trouble code number of the message.

2. Turn off the sub power switch and main power switch.

%

3. Disconnect the power cord from the outlet.

%

4. Contact your service representative and inform the representative of
the trouble code number.
