Working of relay distribution
In relay distribution, each fax machine operates with the following roles.

If the [Relay Printing] of the Utility mode in the intermediate relay station
is set to [ON], the relayed original is printed after relay distribution. For de-
tails, refer to “Specifying the ON/OFF settings of the function (Function
ON/OFF Setting)” on page 10-65.
Originating station
Making a relay request
Set the relay box number, relay password and send a fax to intermediate relay station.
Intermediate relay station
Carrying out relay distribution
Original sent from originating station is stored temporarily in a specified relay box in the memory.
The original in the Relay User Box is broadcast to the Group destinations registered in the Relay
User Box.
Terminating station
Reception
Original sent from relay station is received.
