CONTROLS AND FEATURES

This feature allows you to set channels that will be skipped

when P

are used to tune.

Select the channel you want to skip in your
channel list.

In the Quick Menu, press

to select Channel

Options and press OK.

repeatedly to highlight the skip (

) box.

Press OK to select. A tick will appear in the box.

Repeat steps 1 through 4 for other channels.

Press EXIT.

NOTE: Skipped channels cannot be selected by
P

or P

U

but still be accessed by direct number

entry (when tuned a

icon will be displayed in

the banner to indicate as a skipped channel).

Locking Channels stops the viewing of digital channels,

and they can only be accessed by entering the PIN.

Select the channel you want to lock in your
channel list.

In the Quick Menu, press

b

to select Channel

Options and press OK.

Press

c

repeatedly to highlight the lock (

) box.

Press OK and PIN entry will be required to set the
locked channels. Enter PIN Code and a tick will
appear in the box.

NOTE: A Parental PIN should be set in advance. If
not, a warning message will display to reminder
you to set a PIN first.

Repeat steps 1 through 4 for other channels.

Press EXIT.

From this point on, when any of the Locked
Channel
list is selected, the PIN must be entered
before they can be accessed.

Digital settings – other settings

In DTV mode, this feature will show subtitles on the screen

in the selected language provided they are being

broadcast.

In the DTV Settings menu, press

to select

Subtitle and Audio and press OK.

to select Subtitle Display and press

to select On or Off.

to select Primary Subtitle Language

or Secondary Subtitle Language and press

to select an option.

The SUBTITLE button can be used to select subtitle on or
off for the current channel only and to select the subtitle
language if more than one subtitle is available.

This feature allows a programme or film to be viewed with

a choice of soundtrack language, provided multiple

language tracks are being broadcast.

In the Subtitle and Audio menu, press

select Audio Type and press

select Normal, For Hard of Hearing or Audio
Description and press OK.

to select Primary Audio Language

or Secondary Audio Language and press

to select an option.

If more than one soundtrack is available, use the
s button to select between them.
