Array Rebuild
Click on “Rebuild” to rebuild the array. Rebuilding is available
only for RAID 1 (Mirror) . The Rebuild operation automatically
determines the best available source physical drive and sets a spare
drive as a target drive, another drive in this array will be marked as
Failed and shifted to Spare drive pool. The rebuild operation will
not be performed unless a spare drive is available.
After you click on “Rebuild”, the following options display in the
right frame. They are described below.
Abort Rebuild
When the Rebuild begins, Rebuilding will flash next to the array
that is being rebuilt. You can abort the rebuild by clicking on
“Abort Rebuild” in the right frame. You can view the progress of
the Rebuild by clicking on “Device Progress” in the left frame.
