Each field is described in the table below:

Field

Description

Mode

This field displays the MegaRAID controller's RAID level.
IDE RAID supports RAID 0 and RAID 1.

Status

This field displays the health of the array. The array health
status can be one of the following:
On Line - Working within normal parameters.
Off Line - All drives have failed.
Deteriorated - One of the drives has failed.

Logical Drive Not Available.

Stripe Size

This field displays the stripe size. A stripe size is the maximal
amount of data that can be written to the drive in one write.

NOTE: RAID level 1 does not have a stripe size
parameter. Stripe size parameters are available
for RAID level 0 array sets only. The stripe size
parameter can only be set when the array is
created. See the hardware manual for your
MegaRAID IDE controller for more information.

Capacity

This field displays the actual size of the array. This size is
reported to Operating System.

Error
Threshold

This parameter is user defined. Users can define the error
threshold on each drive. For more information on how to set
the error threshold, see the Advanced menu description.

Physical
Drives

This field displays the physical drives joined to an array.
