4.6.1. Main switch
The main switch is located under the connecting box, next to the connection cable entry. The main switch
should be used only when the heater is not used for some time. When the main power is switched off, the
control panel settings are reset.
4.6.2. Overheating protection system
The heater is equipped with an overheating protection system (THERM). It prevents the heater from
overheating in case the thermostat does not work properly. The reset button of the overheating protection
system is located behind the heater. To reset the overheating protection system, push the reset button with a
screwdriver or a similar device. The reason for overheating should be examined before resetting.
4.7. Service
The electrical system of the heater should be serviced only by an authorised and skilled electrician. When
replacing parts of the heater, use components approved by the manufacturer. If you have any questions or
problems concerning the heater during the warranty time, contact the manufacturer prior to any repair
measures. You can replace stones and clean the outer surfaces yourself. Use mild detergent and a soft cloth for
cleaning, and dry the surfaces of the heater afterwards. For hand protection, use gloves when servicing or
cleaning the heater.
5. ADDITIONAL FEATURES (to be enabled by a qualified electrician only!)
5.1 Control system for electric heating
Connectors 5 and 6 are reserved for the control system of the electric heating in the house. There is always a
control voltage of 230 VAC in connector 6 when the heating elements are switched on. The control system
permits the electric heating system of the house to switch on a) when the timer of the heater is set to 0 or b)
when the timer is set to the pre-setting area or c) when the thermostat switches the heating elements off. Check
to see if the consumer unit needs an intermediate relay to make the control function potential-free.
5.2. Additional indicator light
The indicator light can be connected to connectors 5 and 6. Please note that the indicator light turns on when
the heating elements are switched on. The light does not, for example, indicate the position of the timer.
