3 Function and operation
3.1 Delivery package and installation
Delivery package
– Metal carrier
– Transparent covering hood (double-walled)
– Transparent plate attachment
– Operating manual
Together with a transparent plate attachment, the covering hood offers
protection during transport. The plate attachment and the covering hood
should also be used for storing the adapter.
When an in situ PCR is carried out, the "pegs" on the underside are
inserted into the 0.5 ml positions of the thermoblock. There is no
privileged direction (left/right).
Caution : Only a cold adapter may be attached to the Mastercycler ® and
Mastercycler
®
