4.6 CLEARSKY (IF EQUIPPED)
General
General machine information communicated between the Telematics Control Unit (TCU)
on the machine and the ClearSky web center application may include: engine running,
date, time, location, engine hours, fuel rate and total fuel used, etc. This information will
be reported by the TCU daily with an hourly interval when the machine is in use/engine
running. Only an exception/alarm or direct request will cause a report sooner.
Note: A list of applicable fault codes can be found in the machine Service Manual.
Quick Start Instructions
These instructions are intended for JLG ClearSky connected asset customers to be used
for machines with the ClearSky package. Please review all instructions before proceeding
to the JLG ClearSky Web Center.

Access
1. Connect to any internet service provider (high speed not needed, but preferred).
2. Go to http://www.JLG.com and access JLG's Online Express (OLE) login screen. Log
into OLE, or if an account is not setup, click the "New Access Sign-up" link at the
bottom of the screen.
3. Once logged into OLE, click the link to the ClearSky web center application.
4. For more information regarding the web center, please read "First Time Web Center
Users" below.
First Time Web Center Users
Please read the quick tips below when accessing the ClearSky web center application for
the first time. Four main menu options may be accessed on the ClearSky web application.
1. Alert Management - Provides information on critical alerts such as Alarms, Faults, and
Events. The Current Alert page only displays alerts that are configured as critical in
nature. Alarms, Faults and Events that are not configured to go to the Current Alert
page will be displayed in the Historical Alert Page.
2. GPS Mapping - Displays assets on a map in real-time. Add geo-fences, breadcrumb,
configure and zoom in on assets on this screen. The GPS screen will auto refresh
every five minutes.
