3. Displays and Reports - Three options are available under displays and reports.
On-demand allows wireless requests for up-to-date information. Read and write
options are available. Report launcher includes both preconfigured and user defined
reports. Asset display is a list of the last periodic data sampled from the engine. It is
not configurable, but does give a quick snapshot of asset information without
creating a report. Clicking refresh in the asset display will give the latest data that has
already been transmitted from the machine.
4. Maintenance Manager - The maintenance screen will display all assets, plans and
current status.
Under each of these options are categories that may be selected. The categories point to
a specific set of information referencing that main menu option.
Power
The telematics system is powered by the machine battery and will not operate if the
battery is discharged or disconnected. The ClearSky application uses a small electrical
current while the ignition is off. It is important to properly maintain the machine batteries
during extended periods of no activity. Disconnecting the battery will prevent ClearSky
from sending any notifications until the batteries are connected again.
Damage to the machine may also result in component damage or to become
disconnected, potentially rendering the telematics System inoperative.
The telematics system is integrated into the electrical architecture of the vehicle. Added
electrical equipment may interfere with the operation of the telematics system.
