Description of Unit

The Brillion Wing Float Pulverizer is a secondary
tillage/seedbed preparation implement. It is designed
with a long, telescoping drawbar so it can be used as a
companion machine with field cultivators, finishers and
discs harrows in pre-plant operations. It can also be used
directly behind the tractor in both pre-plant and post-plant
situations. By its design, the wings and the center section
operate individually during field operation. The wings are
capable of floating in two planes vertically and
horizontally without altering the position of the center
section. The Wing Float Pulverizer crushes clods, firms
the soil profile, anchors the residue, texturizes the
surface, presses root crowns and stones into the surface
and enhances capillary action that draws moisture into
the growth environment. Improved seed/soil contact is
the result of these actions. Enhanced germination,
uniform pollination, and earlier maturity can be the results
of improved seed/soil contact. Incorporating the use of a
Brillion Wing Float Pulverizer will result in smoother fields
for enhanced planter and drill performance in spring and
better harvest efficiency in fall. Use of a Wing Float
Pulverizer will help to manage residue and control
erosion throughout the season. All of the features and
benefits of the Brillion Wing Float Pulverizer translate into
increased yields and more profit per acre.
