Shank Positions
NOTE
The R (right) and L (left) on the shank layout indicate
which direction that the shank will throw the dirt. See
Figures 2-11 and 2-12. For normal operation the nuts on
the spring mounting should be tightened so one inch of
thread is exposed. See Figure 2-10.
On all machine sizes you will have one more right hand
shovel than left hand.
