The changes to the zoom are shown in
the middle area of the display. Meaning of the abbreviations FOV = Field Of View
The field of view shows the diameter of the
cutout in the object field that is visible in the
eyepiece.
DOF = Depth Of Field
The depth of field refers to the vertical area
displayed in sharp focus in the eyepiece.
Resolution
The resolution of the current setting is specified
in "lp/mm" (line pairs per millimeter). This reso-
lution varies with the optical magnification and
the aperture of the iris diaphragm.
