5. Use the command
Add Device to add a Motion device (slave) to the
CANopen_Manager (master).
Select a field device from the
selection list.
For EDS files created in the »Engineer«, the field device appears in the selection list with the
same name as during the export of the EDS file in the »Engineer«, extended by the name of
the interface and device type.
6. Repeat the command
Add Device until all slaves connected to the bus are integrated
into the control configuration.
7. Give the inserted slaves suitable names (e.g. "Drive_vertical").
The names must …
• only contain the characters "A ... Z", "a ... z", "0 ... 9" or "_";
• not begin with a digit.
