7.2.2 Table of lubricants
The lubricants listed in the lubricant table are permissible for Lenze drives. Specialty
lubricants must be used, for example, for long-term storage or special operating
conditions. These corresponding lubricants are available at a surcharge.
Observe the following legend of the lubricant table for the selection of lubricants!
CLP ⇒ Mineral oil
CLP PG ⇒ Polyglycol oil
CLP HC ⇒ Synthetic hydrocarbons or polyalphaolefin oil
CLP E ⇒ Ester oil (water pollution class 1)
1) ⇒ The performance of the mentioned lubricants for worm gearboxes and GKK07 (hypoide
gearbox) has not yet been tested. When these oils are used, the permissible torque must
be reduced to 80% of the catalog values.
2) ⇒ Polyglycol oils cannot be mixed with other oil types
3) ⇒ For ambient temperatures higher than 40°C please contact the manufacturer for exact
ambient conditions!
4) ⇒ Observe critical starting behaviour for low temperatures! For temperatures lower than
-25°C special measures for the motor storage and NBR shaft seals are necessary!
⇒ Low-temperature oils, observe critial starting behaviour for low temperatures!
⁄⁄ ⇒ Food oil (approval acc. to USDA-H1)
≈ ⇒ Bio oil (lubricant for forestry, agriculture and water supply and distribution)
