Zone Analysis
Zone analysis provides users with zone sizing information which is useful for applications such as
inhibition zone analysis.
Before proceeding through the zone analysis process, ensure that an image of the Petri dish has been
captured and is ready for analysis.
To obtain zone analysis information for a plate:
•
Click on the
Colony Counting Action Tab then click onto the Count menu button.
•
Select the
Identify by Color Counting method. Be sure to use the Manual count method.
NOTE: While performing the Identify by Color counting method, select a point inside the inhibition zone to
measure.
•
Go to the
Results page to get the readout of the zone measurement.
