Portacal 1000

• Description

The Portacal 1000 is a microprocessor based calibrator for milliamp
and voltage signals. It combines signal source and signal measuring
features for diagnostic testing of analogue current and voltage loops.

Operation
The Portacal 1000 has three basic operating modes:
voltage source, which simulates auxiliary powered transmitters with

proportional voltage outputs;

current source, which simulates auxiliary powered transmitters with

proportional current outputs;

current sink mode, which simulates -wire (loop powered) transmitter

outputs.
