1. Loop powered transmitter test mode
In this mode the Portacal 1000 provides power for, and measures the
output from, the transmitter. Select Fn=1 for this function.

2. Automatic ramp/step mode
This mode is designed for remote testing, it allows you to set the
Portacal 1000 to repeatedly ramp or step between stored values in any
output mode with programmable time delay.
First select the mode required (voltage source, current source or -wire
simulation).
Select Fn=2.
Press

, the display will show the number of points.

Set this to the number you require using the

and the

key.

Select the time delay in seconds (dL=) and step (StEP) or ramp

(rAnP) mode in the same way.
When you press

to accept the values the INC and DEC LEDs will

toggle to indicate that the unit is in ramp mode.
