Before You Begin
Before you install your module, complete these tasks:
• Set the Network Type and Node Address Switches,
• Prepare the Chassis for Module Installation,
• Determine Module Slot Location,
Set the Network Type and Node Address Switches
Before you install the module, set the network type switches for each
channel.
1. Using this image or the module label as a reference, set the
network type switches on the top of the module.
IMPORTANT
If your module uses the 230k DH+ network, that is, Channel A switch set to
3, Channel B is disabled.
Also, node address switches do not apply if you are using remote I/O.
