Creating Aliases
For ease of programming, you may wish to create aliases for the Control and Status words and bits based on
the corresponding word or bit name used in the ControlNet manual)
Step 1. From the Controller Tags screen, select the Edit Tags tab.
Step 2. Right click on the item for which you wish to create an alias.
Step 3. From the dialog box, select Create Tag Which Aliases ‘xxxxx.’
Step 4. Type in the desired name for that word or bit, then press Enter.
Step 5. Repeat the process for all the Control and Status words and bits.
