Step 8: Connecting
the New Harness to
the Capacitor Bank
Task Description
Remove M5 screw to disconnect CAP(-) ring lug from capacitor bank. Wrap the ring in
electrical tape to electrically insulate it and securely mount it.
Connect the new CAP(-) ring lug to the capacitor bank. Install and tighten the M5 screw
(torque 24-28 in-lb).
Remove M5 screw to disconnect CAP MID ring lug from capacitor bank. Wrap the ring in
electrical tape to electrically insulate it and securely mount it.
Connect the new CAP MID ring lug to the capacitor bank. Install and tighten the M5 screw
(torque 24-28 in-lb).
Remove M5 screw to disconnect CAP (+) ring lug from capacitor bank. Wrap the ring in
electrical tape to electrically insulate it and securely mount it.
Connect the new CAP (+) ring lug to the capacitor bank. Install and tighten the M5 screw
(torque 24-28 in-lb).
