The parallel arms should be level with the ground,

If all the parallel arms along the Bean Machine are the
same, the machine is level and you should tighten down
the threaded adjustment studs and jam nut as described
in “Section 6 Transport Wheel Adjustments” on page
19 for leveling. If the parallel arms vary, the Bean Ma-
chine can be leveled with transport and gauge wheel
adjustments described in "Section 6 Gauge Wheel Ad-
justments" on page 19.

CAUTION!
If the planter vertical travel is decreased, considerable dam-
age could occur to the planter units.
