Maneuver the tractor where the boom will be parked.
The storage position for the boom should be in a flat,
level area where wind cannot blow it over and prefer-
ably where it is sheltered from direct sunlight and rain.

Refer to Figure 9

Assemble the parking stands as illustrated. if you are
parking a 3-Point boom. As a safety precaution, you
have to fold out the boom wings before these stands
can be assembled.

If you are parking a 3-Point sprayer, assemble the
parking stand on the back of the 3-Point Sprayer as il-
lustrated.

6.

If the ground is soft, place a board or plate under the
support to widen the ground contact area.

7.

Lower the 3-Point on the tractor and bring the boom to
rest on the parking stands.

8.

Unhook the PTO pump or unplug hydraulic lines from
the hydraulic pump, which ever is applicable.

9.

Unhook the cam-lock connectors from the boom as
well as the hydraulic hoses and position them so they
are resting on the frame of the boom.

10. Remove the 3-Point pins from the tractor and pull the

tractor away from the boom.

Refer to 3-Point/Boom Assembly Instructions, on page 14,
when you are preparing to hitch the sprayer to the tractor.

NOTE: If the sprayer is being hitched up and operat-
ed for the first time, it is important to follow the safety,
set up, adjustment, and operating information in the
front of this manual.
