4.8 General Rules when
Setting the DTX 300
„ The lighter the land conditions the less
the disc angle required and the forward
speed can be increased.
„ The wetter the land conditions the less
the disc angle required and the forward
speed will need to be decreased.
„ Heavier land will require more of a disc
angle and a slower forward speed.
„ The more the trash the less the angle
on the discs and forward speed will
have to be decreased.
„ On ploughed land reduce the disc angle
to give a cutting/chopping action.
„ In hard conditions increase the disc
angle to increase penetration.
