Shutter speed

The shutter speed is the length of time the camera’s shutter curtain opens

displayed on the camera's LCD panel and in the viewfinder ranges from
30 to 1/2000 sec. and bulb.

Aperture

The aperture (or f-number) indicates
the size of the aperture opening in the

lens. The aperture opening is adjusted
by several aperture blades which
open and close to adjust the aperture

diameter.

The

aperture

setting

displayed on the camera's LCD panel

and in the viewfinder can range
anywhere from 1.0 to 32, depending
on the lens attached to the camera.
The larger the f-number, the smaller

the aperture. And the smaller the f-

number, the larger the aperture.
