COPY SETTINGS

See Chapter 10, "Machine Settings," in the Basic Guide.

FAX SETTINGS

SCAN

The Scan mode is selected as default.

FAX

The Fax mode is selected as default.

3. AUTO CLEAR

Sets the auto clear function. If the machine
remains idle for a set amount of time, the display
returns to the standby mode.

ON

Sets the time until the machine returns to the
standby mode.
1MIN. to 9MIN. (2MIN.)

OFF

The auto clear function is turned off.

4. ENERGY SVR TIME

Sets the energy saver mode.

ON

Sets the time until the machine enters the energy
saver mode.
3MIN. to 30MIN. (5MIN.)

OFF

The auto energy saver function is turned off.

TEL# REGISTRATION

Registers fax/telephone numbers for speed
dialing.

1. 1-TOUCH SPD DIAL

Registers the information on one-touch speed
dialing. (See "Registering One-Touch Speed
Dialing," on p. 3-2.) Up to 12 destinations can be
registered.

TEL NUMBER ENTRY

Registers the other party's fax/telephone number
(max. 32 digits, including spaces).

NAME

Registers the other party's name (max. 16
characters, including spaces).

2. CODED SPD DIAL

Registers the information on coded speed dialing.
(See "Registering Coded Speed Dialing," on p.
3-4.) Up to 100 destinations can be registered.

TEL NUMBER ENTRY

Registers the other party's fax/telephone number
(max. 32 digits, including spaces).
