Running Software RAID

If your system is preconfigured with the redundant array of independent disks
(RAID) 5 software, RAID autosynchronization runs in the background and
may require several hours to complete, depending on the array size. If you
turn off your storage server during the autosynchronization procedure, the
procedure will resume after restart.

Additionally, the autosynchronization procedure does not affect user
operations but may affect overall system performance.
