Removing the I/O Board

Prerequisites
1 Remove the battery .
2 Remove the base cover .
3 Remove the memory module(s) .
4 Remove the wireless card .
5 Remove the hard drive .
6 Remove the keyboard .
7 Remove the palm rest .
Procedure
1 Lift the I/O board from the computer base and turn it over.
2 Lift the latch and, using the pull-tab, disconnect the I/O-board cable
from the I/O board.
