Replacing the Modem

 

1.

Connect the modem cable to the modem.

 

2.

Align the connector on the bottom of the modem with the modem connector on the system board, and press down on the right side of the modem.

 

3.

Replace the M2x3-mm screw.

5.

Replace the palm rest (see

6.

Replace the display assembly (see

7.

Replace the keyboard (see

8.

Replace the hinge cover (see

9.

Replace the hard drive (see

10.

If removed, replace the system fan (see

).


 

11.

Replace the optical drive (see

).


 

12.

Replace the battery (see

) and turn the computer on.
