Disconnect the touch pad cable from the system board using the cable release levers.

Lift the palm rest and remove it from the computer.

1.
Align the palm rest with the computer base and gently snap it into place.
2.
Connect the touch pad cable to the system board.
3.
Replace the M2.5x5-mm screw on the palm rest.
