Replacing the Mini PCI Card

1.

 

Align the Mini PCI card with the connector at a 45-degree angle, and press the Mini PCI card into the connector until you hear a click.

2.

 

Connect the antenna cables to the Mini PCI card.

3.

 

Replace the cover, and tighten the screws.

Modem

Removing the Modem

Remove the

memory module cover

.

2.

 

Remove the two M2 x 3-mm screws that secure the modem to the system board.

3.

 

Pull straight up on the attached pull-tab to lift the modem out of its connector on the system board and disconnect the modem cable.

NOTICE:

The connectors are keyed to ensure correct insertion. If you feel resistance, check the connectors and realign the card.

Disconnect the computer and any attached devices from electrical outlets, and remove any installed batteries.

To avoid ESD, ground yourself by using a wrist grounding strap or by touching an unpainted metal surface on the computer.
