Lift the power button board off the palm rest.

 

Replacing the Power Button Board

 

1.

Follow the procedures in

Before You Begin

.


 

2.

Align the holes on the power button board with the protrusion on the palm rest and stick it in place.

 

3.

Slide the power button board cable into the system board connector and pull down the connector latch to secure the cable to the connector.

 

4.

Route the display cable, camera cable, and Bluetooth board cable into their routing guides and connect the cables to the respective system board
connectors.

Replace the keyboard (see

6.

Replace the center control cover (see

7.

Replace the optical drive (see

8.
