5. Lift the control panel away from the computer.
Replacing the Control Panel
To replace the control panel, perform the removal procedure in reverse.
Front Panel
CAUTION: Before you begin any of the procedures in this section, follow the safety instructions located in
the Product Information Guide.
Removing the Front Panel
1. Disconnect and remove all drives (for the Dell Precision 670 computer, see " Drives for the Dell Precision 670 Computer "
and for the Dell Precision 470 computer, see " Drives for the Dell Precision 470 Computer ").
2. Release the front panel by pressing each of the front-panel release tabs.
Dell Precision 670 computers and Dell Precision 470 computers each have seven release tabs.
Dell Precision 670 Computer
