NOTICE:
To prevent static damage to components inside your computer, discharge static electricity from your body
before you touch any of your computer's electronic components. You can do so by touching an unpainted metal
surface. If you leave the area, ground yourself again when you return to the computer.
NOTICE:
To help prevent damage to the system board, remove the main battery before working inside the computer.
Replacing the Computer Base
The computer base includes cables for the microphone and the keyboard. If you need to replace the computer base, follow all
the instructions for removing the system board assembly (see
) and install all system components
into the new computer base.
