1.

Follow the instructions in

Before Working on Your Computer

.


 

2.

Remove the bottom of the base assembly (see

).


 

3.

Remove the hard drive (see

).


 

4.

Remove the WLAN card (see

).


 

5.

Remove the hinge cover (see

6.

Remove the keyboard (see

).


 

7.

Remove the display assembly (see

).


 

8.

Remove the optical drive (see

Removing the Optical Drive

).


 

9.

Remove the 13 M2.5 x 8-mm screws from the bottom of the computer.


 

10.

Remove the four M2.5 x 5-mm screws on the top of the computer securing the metal plate.

 

11.

Remove the three M2 x 3-mm screws that secure the top of the computer near the display.
