Warning indicators

If indicators flash or warning messages appear on the LCD screen or in the viewfinder,
check the following:
js; you can hear the melody or beep sound when BEEP is set to MELODY or NORMAL

[T] The battery is weak or dead.

Slow flashing: The battery is weak.
Fast flashing; The battery is dead.
Depending on conditions, the <Si
indicator may flash, even if there are 5
to 10 minutes remaining.

[2] The tape is near the end.

The flashing is slow.

[U The tape has run out.

The flashing becomes rapid.

£ No tape has been inserted.

5 The tab on the tape is out (red).
6j Moisture condensation has occurred.
