Fn+ (ESC)
System Suspend

Puts the system into System Suspend mode, a
power management state. To return the system to
the active state, press any key or press the power
switch on your computer. (Not available when
connected to the docking station.)

Fn+a (F2)

Display power status

Displays the power status, as

in

the example below:

Fn+ * (F3)
Speaker switch

Toggles the built-in speaker off and on.

Fn+ (F4)
Speaker volume

Adjusts the built-in speaker volume.
To increase volume, press Fn-i-F4, theni or

Fn+^?r (F5)
Brightness control

Adjusts the brightness of the LCD.
To increase light intensity, press Fn-t-FS and thent

Toggles through the LCD, external display

Toggles between LCD and external display
connected to theo* Video Out connector, such as a
TV.

Fn+ (F9)

Disconnects from the docking station when the
power is on. (Not available on all models.) Make
sure there is a charged battery in the computer
before you disconnect the docking station.

Fn+ ^-0 (FI 2)
System Hibernation

Provides for the lowest level of power consumption.
When you execute this command, the state of the
system and state of the peripheral devices are
written to the hard disk and the system power is
turned off. To return the system to the original state,

use the power switch to turn on power. (Not
available when connected to the docking station.)
