2.0 Maintenance
CAUTION: Before performing any maintenance, follow the
safety information in the ETS-Lindgren
Product Information Bulletin included with your shipment.
WARNING: Maintenance of the HI-3804 is limited to
external components such as batteries, cables, or
connectors.
To prevent electrical shock, do not remove cover.
Warranty may be void if the housing is opened.
If you have any questions concerning maintenance,
contact ETS-Lindgren Customer Service.
Battery Replacement
Standard 9-volt alkaline batteries may be used to power the HI-3804 Industrial
Compliance Meter. When the battery symbol appears on the LCD, change the
batteries.
1. Remove the end plate on the bottom of the readout to access the
batteries.
2. Follow the instructions on the back of the readout to insert the batteries
correctly.
3. Replace the end plate.
