All probe commands return :E7 when the probe is turned off.

BP Read probe converter

 N=safe operating level
 F=fail level
Voltage reported as 0 –64;
64 corresponds to 100%
The BP command is provided for backward compatibility and should
not be used to monitor the converter voltage, which always responds
with :B64N<CR>.
