OEM Shifter Removal
STEP 17:
Rotate the left cable base into the HR shifter in a clockwise motion as illustrated in FIG
17A, once installed corrected it should appear as the one in FIG 17B. NOTE: The
shifter is not mounted to the car yet, this is because it is much easier to install the ca-
bles first so please wait to mount the shifter until a later step.
STEP 16:
Using 12mm socket and ratchet, remove
the (4) M8 mounting bolts on the base of
the shifter and remove the shifter from
the car (FIG 16). NOTE: There may be
some wires clipped to the shifter, be sure
to remove them before pulling the shifter
out.
