NOTICE:
To reduce the risk of product damage:
• Damage will occur to the mechanism if the legrest is forced closed from the 1st or 2nd
position. The legrest must be extended to the 3rd position and then closed.
• To prevent damage to the power transformer, do not plug in until instructed.
• Gently press the buttons during operation and avoid hitting the buttons
with pointed or hard objects.
– To reduce the risk of burns, fire, electric shock,
serious injury or death:
• Unplug the power cord before connecting or disconnecting the hand wand.
• Unplug the power cord immediately if you detect strange odors or fumes coming from the chair.
• To reduce the risk of electric shock, this product has a polarized plug (one blade is wider
than the other). This plug will fit in a polarized outlet only one way. If the plug does not fit
fully in the outlet, reverse the plug. If it still does not fit, contact a qualified electrician to
install the proper outlet. Do not change the plug in any way.
• Do not service double-insulated products. In a double-insulated product, two systems of
insulation are provided instead of grounding. No grounding means is provided on a
double-insulated product, nor should a means for grounding be added to the product.
Servicing a double-insulated product requires extreme care and knowledge of the system,
and should be done only by qualified service personnel. Replacement parts for a
double-insulated product must be identical to the parts they replace. A double-insulated
product is marked with the words “DOUBLE INSULATION” or “DOUBLE INSULATED.”
The symbol on the right (square within a square) may also be marked on the product.
• Do not attempt to disconnect the power plug by pulling the power cord. Always hold the power
plug and pull it out.
• Do not use for any purpose other than as a chair or massager.
• Do not use if fabric is ripped or torn; contact your La-Z-Boy dealer for service.
• Obtain medical advice before using this product if you are elderly, pregnant, have just given birth, have been
advised to avoid massage therapy, have any doubt about whether you should use the product, or have any of
the following conditions: heart disease; osteoporosis; spinal fractures; abnormal or curved spine; back, neck,
shoulder, or hip pain; tumors; diabetes; circulatory disorders; weak bones; or dermatitis.
• If you experience pain or abnormal discomfort while using this product, immediately stop using it and consult
your health care provider.
• Never use a massage function on swollen or inflamed parts of the body.

• Check the position of the massaging rollers before leaning slowly back on the massager.
Lean straight back without twisting your body so that the massaging rollers are in position
on either side of your spine. Never force any body part into the backrest area while the
rollers are moving.
• Do not use the massager on your head, chest, abdomen, or bones (such as those in your elbow).
If you massage the nape of your neck, put a soft towel on your neck to reduce stimulation.
• The massager automatically cuts off after 15 minutes but may be restarted for another 15-minute
session. Do not use the massager for more than 30 minutes at a time.
• Do not sleep while using the product, or use product after drinking alcohol.
• If you give this product to someone else, include this Operating Instructions manual.
