Placing rear seat head restraints upright
X Pull the head restraint forward until it locks
into position.
Rear seat head restraint height (rear outer
seats only)
1 Release button
X Raising: Adjust the height of the head
restraint manually by pulling it upward.
If the head restraint is fully retracted, press
release button
1 and pull the head
restraint out.
X Lowering: To lower the head restraint,
press release button 1 and push down on
the head restraint.
Rear seat head restraint tilt (rear outer
seats only)
Two different head restraint angle positions
are available.
1 Release button
X Press release button 1 and tilt the head
restraint to the desired position.
Removing and installing rear seat head
restraints
1 Release button
X Removing: Placing head restraints upright
( Y page 100).
X Pull head restraint to its highest position.
X Press release button 1 and pull out head
restraint.
X Installing: Insert head restraint and push
it down until it engages.
X Make sure the proper head restraint for
each seat is installed. The bars of the head
restraint designed for the middle rear seat
are of even length and shorter than those
designed for use on the outer rear seats.
