procedures for your particular tractor. consult an authorized dealer if the starting procedure is

unclear. ensure the 3-point control lever is in the lowered position and the PtO is disengaged before

starting the tractor.

always disengage the tractor differential lock when turning. When engaged the differential lock will

prevent or limit the tractor from turning. During normal cutting conditions, locking the differential

provides no benefit and should not be used.

Be aware of the operating conditions. Do not operate the tractor with weak or faulty brakes. When

operating down a hill or on wet or rain slick roads, the braking distance increases; use extreme

care and reduce your speed in these conditions. When operating in traffic, always use the tractor’s

flashing warning lights and reduce your speed. Be aware of traffic around you and watch out for the

other guy.

operating the cutter wings

Wings are positioned with hydraulic cylinders. It is recommended that the tractor be equipped

with three hydraulic ports or a 3-spool control valve be used so that each section can be controlled

independently. ensure the hydraulic cylinders and lines are filled with oil by holding the valve control

levers in the raised position until the cylinders fully retract (wings) and extend (center). Only operate

the cutter with both wings fully lowered, neVeR operate the cutter with a raised wing. Wait until the

blades are at a complete stop before raising wings.
