Drawing Up the Bobbin Thread

raise the presser foot lifter. Hold the needle thread
with your finger.

turn the handwheel one complete turn towards you.
draw the needle thread up to bring a loop of the
bobbin thread above the needle plate.

Pass the needle thread through the hole in the
embroidery foot and draw it up to the thread cutter
and holder.
