Zeroing axes

Using the Quattro PDA application, operators can zero the pan and tilt axes on the head, zoom and
focus axes on the camera lens, and the height and steering (wheels) on the Quattro SE pedestal.

From the Quattro PDA main window (Figure 3), select ZERO (3). The Zero axes window
appears (Figure 4).

How to zero the pan, tilt, zoom and focus axes

To zero the pan, tilt, zoom and focus axes:

1.

From the Zero axes window (Figure 4), select ZERO PTZF (14).

2. Move the zoom and focus axes through their entire range—end stop to end stop—and then select

ACCEPT (11) on the main window when prompted.

3. A message appears indicating that the lens is zeroed and prompts the operator to lock the tilt axis in

the horizontal position and the pan axis is set either:

• with indicator marks aligned on the pan axis (if marks are present), or

• with the pan axis rotated so that the camera points straight ahead, toward the front of the

pedestal.
