Maintenance
General
The PDA is robustly made to high engineering standards and little attention is required to maintain
serviceability save regular cleaning. Attention to the following points will ensure a long and useful
service life with minimum need for repair. Refer to the User Manuals supplied with the PDA for
instructions on regular maintenance.
Charging the PDA
The PDA will charge when connected to a powered Vinten Radamec HPM (see Connecting the
Quattro PDA to the HPM on page 16). To charge the PDA independently of the HPM, refer to the
PDA User Manual supplied with the device for instructions.
Routine checks
During use, check the data communications with the Vinten Radamec HPM. Re-fit cables if
necessary.
Adjustments
Adjustments to the setup options should only be carried out by competent and trained personnel.
Refer to the appropriate section in the PDA User Manual if any problem is apparent with the device.
Software upgrades
Upgrades to the software may be issued from time to time. All software upgrades are installed and
configured by Camera Dynamics personnel or trained personnel from your local Camera Dynamics
distributor.
