In dental applications, the optional filter blocks light wavelengths
that cure some dental composites. For white light, switch the
filter out of the light path. When working with dental composites,
switch the filter into the light path
(Figure 1) .

Caution Do not restart the Solarc Light Source
immediately after shutting it off - it may fail to light. If this
occurs, turn the power off and wait 10 to 15 seconds
before turning the unit back on.
Note It is recommended to test dental composites with and
without the optional filter prior to use with a patient.
