Configuring Exchange 2010 UM
In order to receive faxes, all that is required is to modify the UM Mailbox Policy
or Policies to allow inbound faxes, and to set the Partner Fax Server URI. To find
the UM Mailbox Policies within the Exchange Management Console, navigate to
Organization Configuration > Unified Messaging, then the UM Mailbox Policies
tab.
On the General tab of each Mailbox Policy, check the box labeled “Allow inbound
faxes.”
Type in the “fax server URI,” which will be:
sip:fax.example.com:5060;transport=udp
