•The virtual surround sound effect does not work with

Karaoke DVDs.

•The virtual surround sound effect may not work with some

Dolby Digital 2,1ch or 3.1ch DVDs. Additionally, this effect
may not work properly with some Dolby Digital DVDs other
than 2.1ch or 3.1ch, depending on the software.

•Turn off the TV surround sound and other surround sound

effects when using this virtual surround sound effect.

For your reference:

•The VSS indicator lights up when the Dolby Digital DVD is

played back with the virtual surround sound effect.

•For optimum effect, it is recommended that the distance be­

tween the TV set and the listening position be about 3 to
4 times the distance between the right and left front speakers
(only in the case of VSS for external speakers).

guage selection, audio output selection and/or subtitle lan­
guage selection, etc. Although the DVD menu’s contents and
operation differ from disc to disc, the'following explains basic
operation when this feature is used.
