Initial settings

Once the intial settings have been completed, the player can
always be operated under the same conditions (especially
DVDs).
The settings will be retained in the memory, until the settings
are changed, even after switching to standby mode.

Common procedures

Setting Is finished and the initial settings screen is displayed.

To cancel during setup operation

Press RETURN or select “0”. (The previous screen Is dis­
played.)

To clear the initial settings screen

Tilt the joystick (A, ▼) to select “0” and press SELECT.
(Pressing ACTION or RETURN also clears the initial settings
screen.)

Note
•After the player is set to the “Lock AH” setting in “2 Ratings",

none of the initial settings, including “2 Ratings”, can be
changed if a DVD is left inside the player. In this case, re­
move the disc, and unlock the player.

For your reference:
•The numeric buttons can also be used instead of the joystick

(A, ▼) for selecting items or values. Pressing SELECT is not

necessary.
